I suggest that if you are among the people that have been wanting more original live national touring acts to come to Texarkana that you support these shows when they come through town. If somehow you can't make the shows or even if you can, spread the word or post flyers around about these shows. The more people that come to these shows, the more likely venues will continue to bring these type of shows to Texarkana. I've seen success in Shreveport with venues like The Warehouse (which I've been to more times then I can count this year), there's no reason we can't at least get a little taste of the type of rock acts here that they've been getting there.

Makes sense to me...Texarkana is ideally located between many of the major metropolitan areas that bands like these regularly look to play in.

You can listen to a stream of the just released Parabelle album ‘A Summit Borderline/A Drop Oceanic’ at the link below. If you're familiar with early Evans Blue you'll definitely hear the similarity. It has a mix of somewhat heavy and melodic songs. So scan through and check it out.

BTW, in case you didn't know or recognize him in the pic, one of our locals, former Twice Taken guitarist Kyle is in Neverset. I saw Neverset a few months back at Shooter's and didn't realize that he had moved to Dallas and joined Neverset.
