I got a chance to familiarize myself with my new Zoom H2 last night, so I'm hopeful we can get a few useable tracks recorded this afternoon.

And we could not have asked for better weather thus far. Wow!

It is flat packed up there. Never seen so many bikers. And the musician crowd is out in major force--I counted ten bass players (way to show that support, lowenders). The party was still rolling strong when I left.

Ok guys this is gonna be lengthy but it all needs to be said!! The benefit concert yesterday was amazing. Joey and I (sister Kelly) would like to thank everyone who came out with love and support. A HUGE thank you to all the musicians; Andi, Raj, and Company, Mystery Machine, and 2 Far Gone!! (Snookas, your auctioning skills were vastly entertaining!) Thank you, Thank you, Thank you to Steve, Jeremy, Kenny, and Lisa for the Crooked Halo performance; you guys rocked my heart!! We love you! To everyone who helped make the benefit happen; the ladies at the door, the guys manning the kegs, Norma and Durinda and all who helped with the auction and the bike show; we want to give you all a big hug and a kiss!! Thank You! I wish I knew all your names but Joey knows who you are and that's the important thing!! Mary, your guitar pics were a big hit; thank you!!! Dwight obviously loved them!! Thank you to all who donated an auction item and to all who bid on them. Thank you to the bikers who donated their prize money; you guys rock!! Bryce, you !@#$ rock, you are unbelievable, amazing, and I'm nominating you for Man of the Year or something, dude, we love you!! Thanks to the Fat Jacks crew!! If I forgot to mention you or something you did I apologize. We had a big day yesterday and we love and thank you all!! Chad was there with us; very much alive in our hearts and so we'd like to say a last thank you for the love,the comfort, the laughter, the tears, and the memories!!
