I'm pretty sure you T-Rockers are tired of me posting on this, but...this show is the only live music show in El Dorado for the entire week-end.

Looking back to about 4 years ago...that statement in & of itself is revealing.

SC will be performing in a 5 pc configuration tonight...they will be joined on 2nd guitar by long-time friend, Ben Pennington. Some of you on here will remember Ben from several years back when he & Kelsey were touted as the "Young Guns" of El Dorado. These two young men have shared stages together at jams & open mics since they were both 14 yrs old.

Their recent practices together with SC have resulted in a richer, fuller, sound for the band...as well as enabling them to add more depth to song construction on newer material.

We're all excited & pleased with GIGANTO, of Texarkana, AR for agreeing to make this a double-bill tonight, as well. These guys are awesome musicians, with experience gleaned from other bands & projects in that area over the last few years. Their set-list is completely all original, and they've got tons of stage presence & energy. We're looking forward to their show, and hopefully will have more opportunities in the near future for these two bands to support one another.

The Corner Cafe' has been closed all this week for renovations & remodeling, so tonight we'll get to break her in right...LOL!

Great show, as expected...both bands rared back, and just exploded on the stage! Very good crowd, & they definitely got into it.

SC trotted out three new originals..."Anne-Marie", "Teflon", & "Fair Weathers". Kudos to their newest member, Ben Pennington...for a rock-solid performance on 2nd guitar, not too shabby for only two full practices with the rest of the band. I'm looking forward to what these guys will come up with in the area of song construction as he becomes even more acclimated.

The members of Giganto had a blast, and they absolutely love playing in El Do. They brought a good many folks from Texarkana with them, and they were definitely into it!

Thanks to all who came & supported these two acts...it is greatly appreciated! For those who didn't...you missed an exciting show.
